Sooooooo I’m lactose intolerant. Yep – no milk, cheese or ice cream… ever. It SUCKS! But I live with it. Other than the obvious downsides of not being able to eat anything delicious I also don’t get enough calcium. Wompppp. My doctors always told me to take calcium, I never did. And my mom told me to eat Viactiv chews, I didn’t. Then I found out about Adora Calcium Supplements – it’s chocolate! Real, delicious chocolate! I tried the dark and the milk chocolate. Both were good but I liked the dark better. I even shared them with some people at work and they loved it, too.
As for the benefits of Adora – I can report stronger nails. Honestly! My nails used to peel so terribly bad under my polish. And while they still peel it’s much better than in the past. Also, I’ve been able to actually let them grow long enough to shape them into “squovals” instead of shapeless nubbies.
Stronger nails by eating chocolate. It’s that easy with Adora. Just 2 disks as dessert and you’re on your way to beautiful talons. (And they’re only 30 cals each – smart snacking
)
They’re about $10 for a bag of 30 disks. Find the milk chocolate ones here and the dark chocolate here!

I’m a vegan, and I don’t take calcium supplements. I just eat a lot of nuts, good veggies, lots of hearty grains, and drink Tropical Shakeology.
Getting off the dairy and other animals products saved my life (I’m 45 and in peri now). Protein is not a problem, and I need a haircut every 3 weeks it seems (very expensive with short hair!) and my nails grow like crazy (more annoyance being in league bowling).
So it’s good you found a calcium source, but really, if you do any kind of weight training or impact cardio, your bones will stay in good spirits – but then again, to be able to enjoy chocolate without running to the potty is a “yeay!” moment.
