October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

by Alyssa on October 2, 2012

For the next month you’re going to be seeing a recurring theme – pink! It’s breast cancer awareness month and I’ll be keeping you informed of what companies are giving donations from profits and limited edition products and anything else that pertains to this special month.

My G-ma has battled breast cancer so this topic hits close to home. She’s pretty much my hero. She’s overcome every obstacle with positivity, strength and confidence. I can’t say enough good things about this woman, I love her!

So to start off, I wanted to let you all know about Streekers and TouchBack Brow Markers. Jaime and I have used Streekers before and LOVED it! It’s a super fun (and not messy) way to add some color to your locks. I also did a post about TouchBack Brow Markers not too long ago. During the month of October 100% of the sales from the Streekers in Pink and Brow Markers in Blonde will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to help fund research supporting their goal of ending breast cancer by January 1, 2020. That’s right 100%.

TouchBack BrowMarker in Blonde was created specifically for women who have lost their brows due to chemotherapy. Streekers in Pink was chosen to be part of this campaign because … it’s PINK – the official color of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink hair is hot right now and still going strong in young Hollywood. This collaboration is such a great way to donate to a fantastic cause and stay on trend!

Streekers, $11.95 available at Ulta or online at www.Streekers.com

TouchBack BrowMarker, $19.95 available exclusively at www.TouchBackBrow.com
