Boho Chic – Fine Featherheads Earrings & Hair Chalk!

by Alyssa on August 27, 2012

You’ve seen us post about Fine Featherheads before, when Jaime tried out the quill clips! This go-round, I got to try out some feather earrings and hair chalk. Two trends I am loving right now!!!

The earrings I received were called “Rasta” and were a combination of red, green and yellow feathers. What’s awesome about this brand is that no two earrings are the same! I love the individuality!! The earrings were super light-weight and have a full closure posts. I have exremely sensitive ears and these didn’t bother me at all!

Don’t mind the straightener burn on my neck.

I friggen LOVE these earrings. I want/need them in ever single color!!

I also tried out their TINT Hair Chalk in Rasta (Red). This stuff was tricky. Luckily at the time I used it I had super bright blonde highlights and had a Department Outing where our team color was red! Go figure! So being the obsessively team spirited person I am (voted most spirited in High School – LOL) I was really gung-ho about having some rockin’ red highlights! Don’t mind my mountain-man appearance – this isn’t my best look – we were scavenger hunting all day at Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Can you see the red? My red hair even won our team some extra points! However, we did come in last place… BOOO! But I digress…. back to the hair chalk. It was pretty messy. I put it in my hair right before I left the house and by the time I had gotten to Breck it looked like I was trying to cover up a murder. My hands were SO red. This stuff is definitely a set-it and forget-it type product. You won’t want to be touching your hair AT ALL after you’ve used this. However, it was really easy to apply and is fun if you’re looking to spice up your look for a night. I didn’t have any staining from the chalk either, it rinsed out perfectly in the shower!

The earrings are on sale for $25.00 here and you can get the hair chalk here for about $13.00.
Fine Featherheads is a Colorado based company which makes me love them even more!!
