The Perfect Pink Polish. Say that 5 times fast. But seriously, I’ve found it AND right now, it’s suuuuuper cheap!
I try not to go into Ulta very often because everytime I do I act like a maniac and buy way too much stuff. But I had to go in this past weekend and boy was I glad I did! I went in to buy NYX mascara and John Frieda leave-in conditioner. I came out with a little bit more than that, naturally. Right when I walked in there was a sign over their store brand beauty counter boasting $1 eye and lip liners, $2 polish, lip stick and eye shadows and so much more. I am all about saving money so I ate this sale up!!! Here’s what I scooped:
Ok, so here’s the perfect pink polish. It’s called Baby Doll and it was only $2.00. Seriously, it’s friggen perfect. Not too pink, but opaque enough to make your nails pop against tan skin. I love it so much that I have it on my fingers and toes!! The pic above doesn’t do it much justice.
(sorry for the mini pic!)
I am obsessed with Gold Eyeliner right now. I have brown eyes so anything I can do to make them pop – I’m on it! This is a gold metallic automatic eyeliner in Golden Eyes by Ulta. I put this on my lower lash line and on the inner corners of my eyes and its soooo gorg. Got this for only $1.00!
A few months ago I participated in #beautychat on twitter (@beautydebutante) and I shared that I wasn’t a fan of NYX Le Frou Frou mascara because it wasn’t dramatic enough. NYX tweeted me back and suggested I try Le Chick Flick instead! I just love when brands are involved in twitter – it makes me feel like they actually care! This was $5.99, but right now Ulta is having a BOGO 50% NYX products! I accidently got it in waterproof, which I HATE for everyday wear, so I haven’t used it yet. Gonna have to swap it for regular.
Coral/Peach lips are alllllll over the place this summer and I really wanted to give it a shot. This is NYX Round Lipstick in Peach Bellini – which also happens to be my favorite drink. This was $3.99 but was part of the BOGO 50% off. I used this last night and I’m not totally sold. The color is less than vibrant and it started to separate on my lips which looked disgusting. Here’s a pic while it was still looking normal:
It’s a matte peach color with sublte shimmer – I think I might like something with shine a little more.
This is my holy grail. I use this every single day. Keeps my hair moisturzed and healthy while also smelling amaze. I did pay full price for this at $5.99 but Ulta was having a BOGO 50% off on John Frieda products too. However, that’s where I had to draw the line. The last thing that I possibly need is more hair products. M is already peeved that I’ve taken up the whole bathroom counter and underneath it with products.
So, all of this stuff at MSRP would have cost me about $30. With the $3.50 off a purchase of $10 coupon and all of the deals I only paid $14.80. That’s a savings of over 50%!!!! I get giddy when I think about!
