Sooooo, Earth Day was over a month ago but trust me, this post is worth the wait. Clairvoyant Beauty sent me their Earth Day skin care Collection to try out and let me tell you, it is amazing! The collection has 5 products: Facial Cleansing Oil, Rosewater Toner, Cucumber Cream, Rosewater Eye Cream and Firming DMAE & MSM Serum. The best part about all of this? All the ingredients are natural and organic, so you know that you skin is going to love every bit of it. The formulas are developed in small batches which eliminates the need for extraneous chemical preservatives – the best!!
The Facial Cleansing Oil draws out impurities and replenishes moisture. I have super oily skin so I was a little nervous about using an oil based cleanser but it doesn’t leave any oily residue on your face at all!!
The Rosewater Toner is definitely my favorite product of the collection. It comes in a huge spray bottle. I’ve used it by spraying on a cotton ball and I’ve also sprayed it directly on my face. Either way, it’s impeccably light and so refreshing. It’s perfect for the hot summer months. It leaves your skin so soft and perfectly hydrated.
The Cucumber Cream is so cooling and relaxing! The natural qualities in the cream stimulate cell growth, strengthen connective tissue and hydrate without being greasy.
The Rosewater Eye Cream is right up there with the Rosewater Toner. It’s super gentle on the sensitive skin around my eyes and helps to soften creases and lines. This stuff is seriously great.
Lastly, the DMAE & MSM Skin Firming Serum. Sometimes when I hear serum I think oil and heaviness. This was not the case with this serum at all. It has the consistency of a standard face lotion and smells really fresh. The DMAE lifts, firms and supports your skin in the most lightweight of formulas. It absorbs into your skin super quick and promotes the release of acetylcholine which causes the face muscles to slightly contract. Like a little mini workout for your skin leaving it smooth and youthful. the MSM in the serum helps fade brown spots and calms inflamed capillaries. That is def my fav part about the serum – an even skin tone!
