Bath & Body Review: Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Body Scrub

by Jaime on June 6, 2012

Can we call this shower crack? Because that’s how I feel. Heck, the first few days I had this jar in my possession, it didn’t even make it into the shower – I unintelligently rubbed it all over my body just so I could smell like soft, clean, tropical joy all day long.

And I did. Oh, how I did. The scent, even when used correctly (you know, in your shower…), lingered on without overpowering. It’s a blend of almond, coconut, milk, heliotrope and musk that softly melts into your skin all day long. Plus, as a bonus, it’s a guy magnet – my fiance went crazy over the smell.

As far as scrubs go, it’s a nice sugar base – not too much of an exfoliant – and while it leaves a bit of residue, it’s what you’d expect from something like this. And maybe residue isn’t the right word (it has so many negative connotations to it, don’t you think?) – but it leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling sweet and clean.

Frankly, I think I found something that I want to give my bridesmaids for a wedding gift. It’s a beautiful package, smells like heaven and has lasting power (you only need to use a little bit to get the job done).

Get the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Scrub at, Saks Fifth Avenue or any other fine retailers carrying the line. And don’t forget to check out the other fabulous body products from Laura, including the Body Souffle, Honey Bath, Body Wash and more, all in the same intoxicating scent!
