Artistry Beauty 3D Face Powder and Light Up Lipgloss Review

Good morning everyone!  My name is Meredith, from Shakeup Your Makeup, and I recently had the pleasure of trying out some new products for the fall line of Artistry Beauty by Amway.  For those of you who are not familiar with the line, Artistry Beauty is designed with every woman, and every age in mind, helping you look your best no matter what.  There are colors, lines, and formulas to compliment your skin care needs.

I had the opportunity to test out some of the new products for fall, and let me tell you, they are stunning.  I received two 3D Face Powders, a Loose Face Powder and three Light Up Lipgloss for review.

First, lets take a look at the blushes – Artistry 3D Face Powder.  Each comes in a beautiful compact that is contained in a little mesh pouch.  When you open the pouch, the compact comes out – this compact is not skimpy at all, which I think is great if you happen to bring these along in your purse – no digging around…this will be easy to find.  When the compact opens up, there is a full size mirror, the actual blush, and lift up the pan and there is a sponge applicator beneath.  I’ll be honest, I’m not huge on sponge applicators, but being as this is a nice large size, you could easily take a brush applicator from another product and slide it right in.  I did receive two different colors – a beautiful pink (Shimmer Pink)  and a neutral/coral shade (Shimmer Coral).  Both have 5 different strips of color that can be selected individually, or blended together to create a gorgeous glow.  Both have a subtle shimmer, but are not overwhelming at all – instead, this creates that gorgeous glow to the cheeks that make you look healthy.  Below you will see pictures of not only the structure of the compact, but the individual shades, and the entire compact blended together.

The colors are beautiful for different skin tones, and add just enough shimmer to give that healthy glow!

The next thing I received to test out instantly reminded me of MAC Beauty Powders, which I rarely find at the outlets, but love every time I do.  This is the Artistry Shimmer Loose Powder.  The color I received is a very light pearl with golden shimmer.  I tried this numerous different ways: as an eyeshadow, on top of lipgloss, and of course as a highlight!  The package is HUGE, and the color is so versatile – I am in love with it!  I would compare this to MAC’s Loose Beauty Powder in Dazzling Light.

Last, but not least, are these three beautiful lipglosses – Artistry Light Up Lipgloss.  The three colors, Passion (red), Champagne, and Glitz (pink) are absolutely stunning.  The formula is very thick, but not sticky, so it has guts – lasting power that doesn’t get sticky!  The coolest part about the entire thing is the package – built into each lid/applicator is a tiny LED light that automatically illuminates when you open the gloss.  No more fumbling and bumbling in the dark – you can apply easily using the LED light and mirror on the gloss – ingenious!

Passion, a red shade, is probably the most shimmery of all the colors.  Glitz (pink) and Champagne are more of a frost.  All are absolutely gorgeous!  The applicator is a doe-foot, but it isn’t flimsy, so this makes application a breeze.  Also, I find that seeing the colors swatched on lips help get a better idea as to the look, so I’ve attached some below.

After a few weeks of using these products, I have to say I am so excited I had the opportunity to do so.  The product is high quality, the packaging is fantastic, and has ease of use in mind, and even more importantly, all the colors available are bound to have something that suits everyone.  Isn’t it just so fun to discover new things!?
